Our Italian Road Trip

For many years I had always dreamed of being in a position to travel the world to meet my own suppliers & this is the year we were able to go on an Italian Road trip to meet some of our existing suppliers and build new relationships with more. 

This was a real pinch me moment and I still can't quite believe that I was able to do this & take my mum with me. I have previously visited suppliers all over the world whilst working in my previous job as a supply chain lead, so I knew what to expect with the sheer scale of everything, but for mum it was like a kid in a candy shop with all of the options and at times it was quite overwhelming. We had to stay very focused on what we were looking for, otherwise we would have come home with everything.

Firstly we visited our current suppliers so we could put faces to names and see what new articles are being introduced this year by our current suppliers. 

Next we headed onto meeting some new suppliers we have been in contact with prior to our trip. They showed us the collections and we spent many hours going through & picking out leathers we know you will LOVE. We also managed to source some completely new leathers that we haven't work with for and are so excited to show you more later in the year. 

The next few weeks for us will be working through all of the swatch books, ordering some new colours to introduce and begin product development for the new articles we will release later this year.
